Bridgestone is one of the market leaders in the non-studded tire segment. In the new season, the company presented a novelty - Blizzak DM-V3 - a revolutionary nanotechnological development by Bridgestone in the segment of non-studded tires, designed specifically for SUVs and crossovers. The use of the innovative rubber compound Active MultiCell Compound II allowed to maximize grip and to shorten the braking distance on ice by 9%. Due to its multi-angle, serrated zigzag sipes, the tire has an excellent grip on ice and snow. Wide grooves in the center of the tread improve water and slush drainage, reducing braking distances on wet surfaces up to 63%. A double layer of nylon carcass in the sidewall provides impact resistance and increased reliability on the toughest road sections. Blizzak DM-V3 tires are highly durable and retain their properties throughout the entire service life.

Another flagship in the non-studded segment is the revolutionary Blizzak Ice nanotechnology tire, the next generation of the legendary Blizzak VRX (VRX2). The new genertion of Active MultiCell Compound II rubber compound provides superior braking and handling on ice and snow. The braking distance is reduced by 10% compared to the previous model. The increased rigidity and less deformation of the tread blocks allowed to increase the tire wear resistance by 22%. In addition, Blizzak Ice features a low noise level due to improved airflow dispersion groove design.

The Blizzak Spike-02 / Blizzak Spike-02 SUV is an innovative studded tire in the Blizzak range that offers safety on ice and snow. A tough, drop-resistant tungsten carbide cleat provides reliable traction, excellent handling on ice and confident braking. When developing this model, Bridgestone engineers focused on the optimal number of studs and their firm fixation in the tread. V-shaped tread design improves traction on snow. The double layer of nylon carcass in the sidewall provides the tire's legendary reliability and durability.

The Blizzak LM005 is a premium tire for the mild European winter, developed with 20,000 customers' input. It is the first winter tire to receive the European "A" grade label in the wet grip category for the entire tire size range. Blizzak LM005 has the highest performance among competitors in grip, braking and cornering on wet surfaces, which is confirmed by tests by the German expert organization TUV SUD6. The innovative NanoPro-Tech nanotechnology, combined with a new tread pattern, optimizes road contact in wet and snowy conditions. The combination od 2D sipes in the center section and 3D sipes in the shoulder area improves traction and braking performance on snow and ice. The model was recognized as the best in its class according to the results of the ADAC winter tire tests in 2020.
